Sculpture in Carton 2014

Sculpture Exhibition 2014. Carton House, Maynooth, Co.Kildare.

Carton House Maynooth

Set amongst the lush grounds of Carton House, 2013 marked the first year of the outdoor sculpture event Vanishing Art. The estate of Carton House, once the ancestral home of the Earls of Kildare and Dukes of Leinster, provides the perfect backdrop for one of Ireland’s most exciting developments in sculptural exhibition. The land , which originally came into the ownership of the Fitzgerald family in 1176, covers 1,100 acres. It is amongst these sprawling private parklands that visitors are invited to explore and discover the artworks of the Vanishing Art exhibition.

Sculpture in Carton 2014

Following on from the resounding success of 2013, in what is sure to be a highlight in this year’s cultural calendar, outdoor sculpture exhibition Vanishing Art makes its second annual appearance at Carton House in Co. Kildare. The exhibition will feature artworks from some of Ireland’s most acclaimed artists.
